I thought I didn't have a problem, but now I'm scared 🥶

The Top 3 Apps which I spent most of my time on my smartphone was Safari, Twitter, and Telegram. In the measured 14 days, I spent 15-20 hours on these apps, calculated to have spent average of more than 2 hours using this apps.

OK SAFARI, UNDERSTANDABLE.

YEA.... I KINDA KNEW I SPEND A BIT TOO MUCH ON TWITTER.

(DON'T JUDGE, I ALSO READ NEWS ARTICLES FROM IT, NOT JUST READ COMMENTS ON PPL TRASHING TO EACH OTHER)

BUT OH TELEGRAM... I THOUGH I WAS CAREFUL ABOUT IT.

Data Extraction

In 2018, Apple released its parental control feature, Screen Time, as part of iOS12. I knew it had those features, because it was giving me notification on how much time went up/down on my phone usage, but never looked into it.

If you go to Settings > Screen Time on your iPhone, it gives you a detailed information on how much, or on which apps you spent your time on. It also gives you information on how many times you picked up your phone, and which app was used after that pick up. Another information you can retrieve from this feature is the number of notification you have received and by which apps.

I manually inputted those data into Spreadsheet and tried visualizing those data with RAWgraphs.io, Datawrapper.de, and Floursih.studio, to see if I see any pattern or correlation on those data extracted.
